Made-to-measure, our internal shutters are ideal for bay windows, following the curves and angles of the space, without hiding the beauty.

There is a range of different colours and styles to capture your imagination, so no matter what style of interiors you are trying to achieve there’ll be a shutter just for you.
For larger windows and openings, Shuttercraft offer shutters on track systems, that will provide light control for glass expanses or act as room dividers in open-plan homes if required.
With settlements in the area dating back as far as the Iron Age (on nearby Borough Hill), Daventry has had many versions of its name throughout history, including Daintree and Danetre. The town was mentioned in the play Henry IV, Part I by William Shakespeare, and grew out of a tradition of Danish settlers planting an oak tree in the area to mark the centre of England.
Daventry has a place in history thanks to its relationship with broadcasting. From 1932 the BBC’s Empire Service (later known as World Service) was broadcast from the town, with the expression “Daventry calling” giving the area an international reputation. Just a few years later Robert Watson-Watt and Arnold Frederic Wilkins used the radio station at nearby Borough Hill to carry out the first-ever practical demonstration of radar technology.
The planned expansion of the town started in the 1960s as an overspill for Birmingham, although the town has yet to reach the size target originally laid out. As well as a country park and beautiful reservoir, the town is also now encircled by the two industrial estates at Drayton Fields and High March as well as the Heartlands Business Park.
Due to its proximity to the M1 motorway, Daventry has also proven to be a good centre of warehousing and distribution, servicing the rest of the UK from its central location.
